Farm Feast 2009

The Farm Feast is a combination fund-raiser and celebration. The meal is comprised of foods grown by participating suppliers in the French Prairie Branding Program. It is designed to celebrate local agriculture with a multi-course  “farm feast” dinner, prepared to showcase locally sourced ingredients at the peak of the season, and paired with Oregon wines.

FARM FEAST 2009 was An Elegant Barbecue comprised of a cocktail hour on the deck of the Butteville Store, and a sit-down dinner within this historic establishment. Hors d’oeuvres were complimented with Oregon wine, and the main course centered on roasted hazelnut-finished pork, accompanied with salad and vegetable dishes and a different assortment of Oregon wines.  The event was interspersed with farmers describing the products grown and methods used.
