French Prairie Farm FeastFriends of French Prairie
The Farm Feast is a combination fund-raiser and celebration. The meal is comprised of foods grown by participating suppliers in the French Prairie Branding Program. It is designed to celebrate local agriculture with a multi-course “farm feast” dinner, prepared to showcase locally sourced ingredients at the peak of the season, and paired with Oregon wines.
2022 French Prairie Farm Feast
Sunday, August 21 at 5:30 to 9:00 PM
The French Prairie Farm Feast, the annual event celebrating agriculture, farmers and food products grown in French Prairie, is back! After a hiatus caused by the pandemic, we are re-starting this event to be held on Sunday, August 21.
The changes wrought by the pandemic and the supply chain and inflation problems plaguing us this year have forced us to change to model somewhat. The event is now being held in partnership with Lady Hill Winery, located on one of the oldest farms in French Prairie, founded in 1856!
Instead of a separate appetizer hour followed by a sit-down dinner, the food service will be in two parts: Hors d’ouevres & Canapés by Bon Appetit Catering accompanied by Sternwheeler Hazy Pale Ale and Lady Hill’s True Northwest wine offerings, followed by Appetizer platters and smoked Tri-Tip carved to order, prepared by the Historic Butteville Store. Cost as in prior years is $50 per person.
The Feast will be followed by the presentation of the Farmer of the Year award, and by our annual Raffle and Auction, always a fun event and a fundraiser for Friends of French Prairie.

Promoting prosperous farming requires work in many areas to develop brand recognition, help local farmers find and develop new markets and connect with new opportunities—as well as preserving farm land. As new and varied demands for land arise, careful management and strong advocacy will be necessary to ensure that important values are observed and strengthened.
Together we can guide development of the French Prairie area. We need your help, and we need your donation—today!
