FOFP releases White Paper on Data Shortcomings and Misrepresentations in the 2012 Aurora Airport Master Plan
Using recently available ACTUAL objective data from the FAA Air Traffic Activity Data System (ATADS) FOFP is now able to compare projected growth in Total Operations and Based Aircraft found in the 2012 Aurora Airport Master Plan with what has actually occurred. These forecasts, along with Constrained Operations data, constitute the justification for lengthening the runway and expanding the airport at Aurora, and can now be seen as not just willful misrepresentations but falling as much as 40%...
